This resource works closely with the customer during the initial stages of the project to assist the customer in formulating project requirements, establish scope and phases, and identify resource requirements for successful project execution. The AWS Certified Advanced Solutions Architect Professional also works with the customer to develop cost and performance optimized architectural solutions based on AWS best practices that meets the customer’s business objectives.
This resource is an experienced Amazon AWS Certified Solutions Architect that typically resides on-site throughout a projects duration providing day to day oversight and direction of solution implementation as well as hands on implementation of various aspect of a customer solution. This resource works closely with the AWS Certified Advanced Solutions Architect Professional and the customer during the initial stages of the project and ensures that all solution and design implementations meet customer requirements and are implemented according to AWS best practices.
The AWS Certified SysOPS Administrator(s) role is to perform day to day implementation of solution designs to include automating the provisioning of all customer AWS infrastructure as code using technologies such as AWS CloudFormation, OpsWorks, or Elastic Beanstalk. This resource also ensures that key aspects of the operational implementation such as multiregion, multi-AZ high availability, auto-scaling, security, encryption, backups, tagging, data lifecycle, and version control are executed in accordance with Amazon AWS best practices. Additionally, this resource works closely with the customer on all day to day application migrations of customer applications into Amazon AWS during the migration phase and helps to support the AWS operational environment while the customer builds the skills sets required to operate and maintain an Amazon AWS environment for themselves.
The AWS Certified DevOPS Engineer Professional brings advanced DevOPS automation skills to a project which includes the implementation of A/B testing and zero downtime Blue-Green release environments as well as in depth technical expertise in automation of applications and infrastructure using AWS CloudFormation, CodeCommit, CodeDeploy, CodePipeline, OpsWorks, Elastic BeanStalk, SWF, and EC2 Containers as well as other traditional DevOPS tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Maven, and GIT. The AWS Certified DevOPS Engineer Professional also brings to a project advanced scripting and programming skills for DevOPS automation in languages such as shell script, Python, Ruby, Java, and Powershell.
The AWS Certified Developer brings a unique set of skills for developing large scale web based applications in Amazon and works closely with the customer’s development community in the architecture and design of new applications that are optimized for Amazon AWS which may benefit from using advanced AWS services such as SQS, RDS, ElastiCache, SES, SNS, API Gateway, Kinesis, Mobile Hub, Cognito, and Elastic Transcoder. This resource may also assist the customer in the re-factoring and migration of existing applications into AWS using one or more of these services.
The project manager is a resource that is fluent in AWS terminology and highly skilled in Agile, Scrum, Jira, and Confluence. The role of the project manager is to work with the project team on implementing and maintaining the project backlog, defining and prioritizing sprint activities, running sprints, managing project time and budget, and providing reports to the customer.
